following ten (10) counties:
Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Hart, Logan,

ARRA Programs/Funding for BRADD
Youth - 2009 Summer
Youth Employment Program (SYEP)
The Barren River SYEP program
includes a variety of opportunities for approximately 150 youth, ages 16-24 in
the ten-county area; Participants may work up to 40 hours a week, with an
average of 25 hours per week; Program dates are June 1 through July 24;
Worksites are at non-profit and government agencies; Hourly rates will be $7.25
/hr. In addition to worksite experiences, youth will be completing the Junior
Achievement “SuccessSkills” work readiness model.
