ARRA 2009 Summer Youth
Employment Program (SYEP)
The Northern Kentucky
Workforce Investment Area will be offering employment opportunities for
approximately 120 low income youth, ages 16-24, for the months of June and
July. The area has partnered with more than 50 work sites throughout the
eight-county area. Emphasis will be placed on “green occupations” and high
quality work experience that will provide both income as well as exposure to the
world of work. At the end of the summer a job/education fair will be offered to
provide information about on-going educational and work opportunities.
